Service Description

All ages welcome. BYO skates $12 per person Hire Skates available for an additional $7 paid on site (eftpos or cash) Based on Kiwiskate programme. Kiwi Skate is Skate NZ’s flagship learn-to-skate programme for beginners of all ages designed to teach the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner. Lessons are given in group format and led by Skate NZ Accredited coaches. Coaches may be assisted by trained Programme Assistants (PA’s), which are usually the senior skaters in the club. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning. Exciting new features include a fresh new look, new awards, great tools for coaches and most importantly a nationwide curriculum and delivery methods that guarantee skater success in developing stronger basic skills and keep skaters engaged. The result is a dynamic new programme that prepares all skaters for virtually every roller sport. We are excited to welcome learn-to-skate clientele from every walk of life, age and every interest level!
